Just in from Teamassociated.com: Reedy/Team Associated were victorious in round 2 of the Midwest Grand Slam. The event was held December 10-12 at MSI Raceway in Detroit, Michigan. Practice began on Friday with 3 qualifying rounds on Saturday and the final round of qualifying and the main events on Sunday.
Keven Hebert of Team Associated was the class of the field in the 1/12 Modified and TC Modified categories. Keven captured the
pole position in 1/12 Modified with his 12R5.1 ahead of teammate Walt Henderson. In TC Modified, Keven again claimed the pole with Henderson set to line up in the third position. The high-grip surface suited their TC6s perfectly!
Another Team Associated driver, Joe Trandell was driving a 10R5 started from the pole in the World GT class. He did the same in the 1/12 Stock class with his 12R5.1. He eventually claimed victory in both classes. Great job for Trandell this time.
In the mains on Sunday, Hebert dominated with Reedy 60C LiPo batteries, LRP SXX ESCs, and X-12 motors
