Our New Friend of RC YouTube Channel!

Posted on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011 | in News | No Comments

Hey guys! I am really excited to let you all know about our new YouTube channel Friend of RC. Basically, it is weekly RC Show answering the tough questions everyone in RC asks. This channel is separate from our RCNightmare YouTube Channel in that we will not be doing unboxings and tutorials on this channel. That is what the RCNightmare channel is for. This new channel is going to tackle the questions that get brought up the most: things like Electic or Nitro, which short course truck to buy, what should I know about flying RC airplanes, and the list goes on. And we’ll even have some interviews with industry experts to help you out even more.

This channel was made so that we could help you using our personal experiences in RC. If you have a question about being a first time RC plane pilot we will go buy a plane and give it a try :) . How many sites do you know that would do that for you? This is what separates us from so many other places to get RC information on the web. We are willing to do the research first hand to answer your questions. Like the RCNightmare website says, we are about facts not opinions when solving your RC problem.

Our newest videos on the site include “The Best Short Course Truck For Racing” and “Kit or Ready to Run – Which is Right For You?”. You’ve gotta check it out! Let us know what you think!

P.S. Doesn’t Jeremy look great in that logo ;)

HPI RTR Nitro Monster Truck Review

HPI Racing has a new Nitro Monster Truck out for 2011. It’s the new RTR Savage X 4.6. Jeremy recently unboxed an electric monster truck – the Traxxas Stampede 4×4 VXL and took it out for a run and it was awesome. Now I’ll take a look at some of the features of this Nitro powered truck and you guys can let me know what you think.

One for You and Your Significant Other

Now, apparently this bad boy is known as the most durable monster truck on the market and HPI has upgraded it with a lot of new features. You’ve got your the HPI 2.4GHz radio system that prevents frequency conflicts automatically. Don’t know if you’ll use the $65 worth of accessories (we usually don’t) but they got em in the box – A rechargeable 7.2V Plazma battery pack and AC wall charger are now included to power the Roto-Start 2 electronic starter, along with Plazma AA’s for your transmitter and receiver, a glow igniter, 4-way wrench, a fuel bottle and even an extra glow plug! Just add some HPI Power Fuel. Those actually sound like very usable accessories. Read on »»
