LRP S10 Blast TC RTR

Posted on Friday, December 31st, 2010 | in News | 1 Comment

This is a pretty sweet new 1/10 Electric Touring Car that joins the S10 family at LRP. This is the type of car that will make your racing career possible. The Blast is RTR and is suitable for beginners and experts – with plenty of upgrades for you experts out there.

This thing comes with the already approved components of the S10 Blast Offroad line like CVDs in front, adjustable turnbuckles, anti-roll bars front and rear, voluminous „Big- Bore“ shock absorbers, shaft drive train and even more first-class features.  Unlike the S10 off-road vehicles, the Blast comes with a single-part chassis and without a slipper, since the slipper is not needed in Onroad cars and you save extra weight without it.

You are able to mount every commercial 1/10 touring car bodies and wheels, so you can customize it to your liking. And again, you can upgrade a ton of parts to rock this thing out.

Keven Hébert To Stay With Reedy, Associated & LRP

Posted on Thursday, December 30th, 2010 | in News | No Comments

Yesterday I talked about Keven Hebert’s victory at the Midwest Grand Slam and today I’m here to tell you this great driver will be re-signing with Reedy, Associated, and LRP for another 2 years. This extension means he will keep running Reedy LiPo batteries, Team Associated’s TC6 & 12R5.1 and LRP brushless systems. This young driver has a lot going for him.

Rick Hohwart, department manager at Reedy is excited to continue working closely with Keven in the next couple of years. He had this to say about Keven:

“Keven is not only a driver who can win races, but who has been instrumental in the development of the TC6 and 12R5.1 platforms. He is not only fast, but is always willing to help others with setups and questions concerning motor and ESC gearing and tuning, as well as battery care and maintenance. He is a great asset and an excellent representative of the Reedy brand.”

Keven is obviously excited as well, saying:

“Reedy, Team Associated and LRP have supported me for the last three years, which has allowed me to get where I am today. I am very happy to be with such a strong team for the next two years. I have made many friends at Reedy/Team Associated/LRP and I would like to thank them for giving me the opportunity to keep doing what I like the most.”

We’ll keep an eye on him this year, I’m sure he will continue to grow and improve on Team Associated.
