The 2010 Fall Off Road Championship took place this weekend in Jefferson City, MO. Overall, the races were action packed, but one class stole the show – the 2WD Mod Buggy.

In the closest race of them all, TQ Lendel Smith, Mike Garrison, and Lou Colmo started out front. The top three drivers were close

for several laps before Colmo made a slight mistake, which allowed Smith and Garrison to extend their lead on the pack. The racing was extremely exciting as the two went back and forth lap after lap, swapping the lead more than five times. Both drivers crossed the loop just in time to get one more lap, with  X-Factory’s Lendel Smith leading the way and Garrison less than a car’s length behind. With two corners to go, Team Associated’s Mike Garrison made his move by cutting inside for a last-minute pass. Smith made a slight mistake as he followed Garrison into the last rhythm section, securing the win for Mike Garrison.

Team Associated comes out successful once again – these guys are good!

New Release: HPI 2010 CHEVROLET CAMARO BODY

Posted on Friday, December 10th, 2010 | in News | No Comments

I passed the actual 2010 Chevy Camaro on the street when I was heading home for Thanksgiving and I wanted to steal it (but I didn’t fortunately). But now HPI has come out with the body of the 2010 Camaro for RC! Some of you may not be Chevy fans and that’s cool, but I was forced to drive a beat up Chevy S10 back in high school, so I have a special place in my heart for it.

Anyways, the body fits 200mm touring cars and can also be used on 190mm touring cars with the use of wide offset wheels. Chevy gave HPI the license to sell these bad boys with emblems and vehicle model body designs. The body is clear so you can paint it in your favorite colors. You also get 2 large pre-cut decal sheets with the body that feature shiny chrome and shiny gold logos, as well as window lines, headlights, grills, tail lights, official logos and much more, providing you with a realistically finished product. That’s pretty cool.

So that’s a picture of the final product that HPI created, but like I said, you can paint it and decal it however you want and make it your own. This would be a cool item to keep on display at your house, especially if you have the real car too. I think if I had the real car, I would keep this model  next to it in the garage and not let anyone else park there. Just an idea.

Let us know what you think!
