Maifield Does it Again in Arizona

A few weeks ago in our newsletter, I discussed Ryan Maifield’s win at the IFMAR 1/8 Scale Buggy World Championships in Pattaya, Thailand. This time he’s done it again at the Arizona State Championships.

Every year for the past 25 years, the fastest drivers in the southwest have been competing in Arizona for the State Championship. This year it was held at the infamous SRS in Scottsdale Arizona with over 150 cars racing at the track. Arizona’s own Ryan Maifield set a fast pace throughout the race, however during the second round he was passed by JConcepts Tanner Denney. CML & Team Associated Dominate Schumacher Winter Open

The Schumacher Winter BTCC Open was held last weekend at the awesome Moto Arena Silverstone, the world’s premier RC Racing and Virtual Racing destination. The event attracted a good number of quality drivers and top UK national drivers; however, CML and Team Associated drivers Olly Jeffries and Chris Slater dominated the competition. Read on »»

It seems like everyone in the short course world has been clamoring for a 4X4 model of their favorite HPI Blitz or Team Associated SC10 short course trucks.  A quick look at most forums will show the same sort of questions being asked over and over again.  People always hoping someone has heard something about HPI or Team Associated releasing a 4X4 model of their short course trucks.  The trouble is nobody really knows for sure. Steering Dual Rate

What is steering dual rate? As the name implies it has something to do with rate of your steering! Also, ‘dual’ for two???

Many, if not all, radios these days come with a ton of features. One of those is Dual Rate (DR). The term dual rate is a little misleading. I’ve not seen a car/ truck radio where there are two (dual) steering rates. The control for the DR is of the knob variety (potentiometer) meaning you have a ‘range’ of steering rates. By varying the knob position (like the volume on a radio radio) you change the rate and affect the truck’s steering. This steering rate affects both left and right steering. Read on »»
