Max Amps makes very good battery, but the price is high...|
Yeah there's nothing wrong with the quality just the claims. After you realize the claims are false you then realize the price is a joke. I'll never buy a Max Amps pack. That's just this guy talking...
could not tell ya, not gonna waste my hard earned $ on max amps. and if i was going to pay big bucks for my batteries i would go with thunder power. but from jangs tests looks like gen ace all the way. thanks for showing me this video
I have no problems with thier quality. I agree that the max amps packs may have very high reliability but they are the only company i know that advertises the burst rating instead of the continous rating on their packs. But in the case of this test, they dont even operate at thier advertised burst rate. Im glad i went with the Gens Ace packs cause i love them so far. No complaints at all.
they really shouldnt advertise it as true 150c... that makes it sound like a constant rating
I'd just go and get a cheap Zippy Race pack from Hobbyking. ($2X) dollars for a normal Zippy and a little more for a Zippy Race which have higher out put. And they actually get what they claim.
I know people with Zippy packs, Still going pretty well even after 300+ cycles.
i own a 2 gens ace packs and 2 zippys all with the same specs and to me it seems like i get a lot more punch and like 3 extra minutes of run time with the gens ace packs. dont get me wrong though. i love my zippys
