well first you need a soldering iron, some solder which you can get at any hardware store or radio shack. and the connectors of choice. you need to practice first. try on scrap piceces of wire and small scraps pieces of metal i will make a video for you

Have your hobby shop do it. I did and it only cost me $20 for 3 to be put from bullet connectors.

Good idea. Hobby shops will do this, but $20 seems like a lot.

Soldering is fun. If you have patience you can be decent at it in no time.

The key is all in the preparation! Clean everything with flux and tin all surfaces.

I have no patience once so ever, and the smoke just makes my head hurt. I tried it and it just kept popping off. And I could never make the metal go all the way through the traxxas connectors.

thats why i wear a face mask that i picked up at my local dollar store to protect me from the smoke

traxxas connectors have a metal shim that comes out of the plastic that the wire is connected to
