Battery Size?

I am going to buy the Traxxas 4000mAh 3-cell LiPo battery for my Bandit vxl, but I also say the Traxxas 5000mAh 3-cell LiPo. I was just woundering if the 5000mAh is too big for the stock battery holder in the Bandit vxl. If it is too big then could you please tell me.

If it is to big just cut some plastic off the chassis so it will fit.

im going to recomend the 5,000 mah battery because you can get just under 30 minutes of run time... i'm running 5,000 in my cars

4,000 to call it safe and if it does fit easly and you think that the 5,000 will fit then get the 5,000 later if you want but if you get the 4,000 your only missing out on 5 mins of run time

ya, this thread was made in january and for my birthday (which is in march) my parents said they would let me make a lst and they would buy it and that battery was on the list along with like 14-15 other things.

and ive gotten my bandit up to 50mph with safe, bashing gearing. I also get about 50-60min of runtime. I also have a Zippy Compact 5000mAh 25c 2s LiPo that I got for 17 bucks on hobbyking.com
