i know that the battery tray has a 3s 6000mah limit so you can not put a lipo larger then that inside of the battery tray... but turnigy gens ace (soft packs. hard case do not fit) max amps, traxxas... anything from hobbypartz is good

I use (2) Zippy 2s 5000mAh 25c LiPos from hobbyking.com. They are super cheap and really good quality! Highly recommended!

I have Gens ace 2s 5000mah 40c battery's that fit very well in my 1/10 summit. I prefer the Gens Ace mainly because they are cheap and have good performance. The Traxxas 3s 25c 5000mah is also a perfect fit for that car also.
