So I've decided to get a new radio. I really like the DX3S but I've heard of people who have had range issues. I will be running it in my Backslash 4x4 (Slash 4x4 with buggy conversion). Has anyone had range issues?

I haven't had a problem with mine, and neither has anyone I know. I love mine, it's way better than the Traxxas ones, I hate their menu tree.
Thanks. I know you've answered this question for me before but I just wanted to get it out there to see if anyone has expierenced a problem. Do you recommend the case too?
Sure, a case is always good. I don't have one, but I try to be very careful with this trx, my traxxas ones get thrown around and tossed in the tool box with my trucks.
Do you mean that I should be careful with it? Don't worry because the worst thing I do to my radios is set them down on the dirt of something just to check temps.
Yea, if you can get a case, get one. I've been wanting one, and will get one eventually but I just haven't yet. What one are you looking at?

The aluminum one? If you want a $50 case, get it, I've been looking at the one from Venom, it's around $20.
It'll have to look at the Venom. If I order the radio I won't order case with it but I would eventually get one.
