Bead lock wheels don't require glue.

beadloc doesn't require glue... this does allow to quick change or add weight for some applications
I do not suggest this option for anyone who races, just for the simple fact it does add weight and will change how the rc flies through the air on jumps. It can be helpful if you happen to go through a set of rubber on a race weekend and you either don't have a spare set of wheels or don't want to replace them.
I think they're better suited for crawler/scaler rigs and 1/5 scale. I plan on trying a set of the 40 series, but I've heard multiple stories about the tire slipping out of the bead.
With a beadlock, you pinch the tire between the rim. With normal rims you glue them.
