If it's a brushed motor and used, the brushes are probably just about had it... They get worn down with normal use and could easily wear more on one side then the other.
Simple fixes: If you can replace the brushes, replace them...
Or just go brushless conversion, never have to worry about it again, faster, longer run times too ;)
Its brushed and about 10 yrs old,the original motor i had was a team trinity 19t.That motor died i was desperate to run my scx10 so i put this 10yr old motor in to last till i get a new one.it lasted about 4 days lol anyway i'll be getting a new one friday, thanks for the help
ill be getting new motor soon too happened to me :( i wanna get brushless but idk if traxxas will do their powerup thing cause its dead
The motor i'm getting is a brushed integy 35t due to being on a very tight budget.I was thinking of going brushless but i don't think my tazer 12t esc is compatable with a brushless. The trinity died do to muddy dirty water i was stuck in a creek and thought i could get out,but it dug up small chunks of rock and mud.needless to say it didn't take long to shut down.
yeah after i get brushless imma keep a couple titans for mud boggin i dont wanna ruin a brushless :O
Yes Traxxas will take the trade in even if its burnt to a crisp! But note, you are trading in the stock brushed esc and motor for a Brushless ESC and Brushless Motor.
Ok weird,i hooked my trinity back up and now it works, it even still performs decent.
