I think the number of "s" says it all.
I didn't notice much of a difference with mine until I went with 2s. Then I went 3s and haven't looked back
i dont have enough for lipos but i broke something well its not really broke i dont think... the left rear shock cap came off from the shop i need to get one of the really small wrenches to put it back on i think.. ill need some shock oil and after run oil now
you can buy very cheap lipos from Hobbyking.com... for example i use this battery in my Rustler: HobbyKing Online R/C Hobby Store : Turnigy 5000mAh 2S1P 20C hardcase pack (USA Warehouse)
Also, if you do buy these lipos they will not come with a traxxas connector so you will need to solder a traxxas one on.
chargers can be expensive but...I use this one and it works awesome, no problems ever: Thunder AC6 Smart LiPo Balance Charger/Discharger w/ AC Adapter for 1-6 Lipo/ 1-15 Nimh + USB to PC Software

i was watchin a vid from jetlagg2222 i think thats how to spell it he completely submerged his battery in water and what battery was that? because those seem to be very good batteries
Try the gens ace lipos from hobbypartz.com. They cost a little bit more than the Hobbking lipos (only about 10-12 dollars more) but they give much better performance, almost as good as many higher end packs. I use them in my slash and my losi 8ight.
