which one to get

i am looking at either getting the team associated RC8be FT or the Mugen eco guys at my track say the associated is strong. (havent see them run them yet) but i just watched squirrels review of the mugen and it i was really impressed so if you have a mugen or an associated could u let me know what your experiences with the kits are.
also include what motor esc and servo. that would be the best

I have a bit of first hand experience with the RC8e FT. I can testify for it's durability (it's an 1/8 buggy after all) and parts support is really good. I can't speak for the Mugen but when it comes to the top 1/8 buggies there are only subtle differences. I'd go for the one that you can get parts for easier.

since you do work at a hobby shop. what parts do they break the most. i heard that motor mounts break a lot which is something weird in my opinion

Can't say I've ever had anyone need one. Tires, front arms, and wings are the only parts I've ever really sold for those. I know the old RC8 was a little brittle but the new version is tough. I've never broken a part in a track situation.

those parts sound like things that typically would ware over time... but has anyone said anything about the a arms

There are a few guys a know that have multiple 1/8 buggies, 2 of them have both the rc8 and mbx6 eco and they both say the mugen handles much better and the parts quality is higher. Only downside to them is most shops dont carry parts for them so they will order a bunch of spares.

it just cost about 100$ more and i still need tires and a transponder

check out the hyper 9e. Ofna makes really good kits. and ive driven my friends hyper 9e and it handled amazing on the track but i cant compare it to the others bc i havent driven them.

i was going to get the ofna at first but parts are really really hard to get for me
