ha you'll have no problems with this hobby man you're asking all the right questions. I thought the stampede 4x4 would be a top heavy clunker too. But honestly I never really had a problem with roll overs. I attribute this to the low chassis design as well as the 4wd. This gives you a TON of gyroscopic control over the truck in a turn. It keeps itself upright and stable. All of this even before a anti-roll bar upgrade!
