i take it that it did not cog/stutter with this esc/motor combo before.
check motor wires sometimes the bullet connectors get dirty clean both sides with alcohol
also try re-calibrating TX to ESC
alright, i have an rc18t that i have installed the exotec mid motor mount set up and it requires me to run a saddle pack, but im just going to run small lipos in parallel which is what a saddle pack is. so i went to one of my lhs and bought four turnigy nano-tech 2s 370mah 25-40c packs. i can fit two on each side and im running all four in parallel so it adds up to 1480mah. however after i charged the packs i noticed i needed some Velcro to run 2 on each side and i was so eager to finally run it that i put just one on each side. so i then went out side and began to drive it. and right away i noticed that if i get on the throttle hard or like really punch it it like stutters badly and sort of cogs, but if i gradually get on the throtle it works fine and i can go full throttle. and i am running the mamba micro pro esc with a 4200kv motor. im guessing the problem has to do with amp draw of the motor being to much for the batteries? but idk. i dont think gearing could be the problem.
does anyone have suggestions for my problem?

yeah well it cogged a little bit like at low throttle input which is normal but i coul always go full throttle no problem, i calibrated it right before that run so that if out of the question.
ill check the wires. thanks.
anyone else?
try strapping the regular battery you would run on top plate and see if it still stutters then you would know if its the batteries
ahh. how did i not think of that haha.
i strapped on my gens ace 2s 5000mah 40c pack and it did the same thing. so that is good and bad. bad bc i dont know what the problem is but good bc the batteries can still be used.
any ideas?
YESSS!!!! I figured it out. my castle motor was the problem. i swapped it out with my reedy motor and it works great.
