Trashed at the Track
Drove my Revo on their local track and flipped it and somehow the dang u joint came to pieces. Pins went flying, the little metal "box" that holds them went missing. And I think I stripped the thing it was in. I think the "axle carrier"? Any way to make the Revo less heavy? It jumps and goes straight down even on 6s.

Rpm parts. also try stiffer springs.
-
Go slightly slower to the jump, then gas it on the jump.
As for U-Joins, are they the plastic ones?
-
It's part number 5452 I don't know if they are or not.
I have Silver Springs on front with 30wt shock oil and Blue springs in back with 60wt. All pushrods set to outer hole to look more like a truggy.
-
ah, maybe it's the shock oil? I run thinker up front then the back
Did you try the driving style?
Which are stiffer? The Silver or Blue?
-
Blue springs are stiffer.
-
Ah, that's also part of the problem, You're front soaks up the ramp while the rear rebounds it. Try stiffer up front with a thicker oil. You're steering will be more responsive, and hopeful fix your nose diving

d0 not go to nuts on the car spending cash to make it a racer, buy a truggy or buggy that most people have, should be more happy
-
never been to toyz and trans (i think its called) but i might make the commute when i get a car
-
Thats why you don't buy traxxas lol.
