I don't understand what they mean when they say a 10.5 turn motor or a 5.5 turn motor I don't know if lower turn is better or higher turn is better can someone please explain the whole concept to me??

this is motor 101. i had the same problem too. the turns are referenced to the magnets on the inside of the can. the lower the number the higher the resistance between the magnets and the commutator. so a 5.5 turn motor is faster than a 10.5 motor.just keep this in mind lower faster high slower.
Actually the turns are how many times the windings of the coils in the motor are wrapped around themselves. The lower the number, the more rpms the motor will make for a given voltage but will also result in lower torque at all rpm ranges.
