what size is the rally body?
they seem pretty close to 1/10 touring car size
I've seen recently that Traxxas released yet another configuration of the revo platform.
Supposably this is a limited edition of 100 units that are not for sale and only promotion items given away from Monster Energy. WCC (West Coast Customs) Built a 1:1 version of the car for KoRn,Well the lead singer.
It's a 69 Camaro and I can't believe that Traxxas spent all the money to only make 100 of them. The paint job is cool and all and I wouldn't mind a set of the wheels but I really just want a clear body. I'm dieing to change out the rally body to something different and a 69 Camaro sounds right up my alley..
So does anyone have any idea if and when they will be releasing this piece of lexan?
You could say I'm an ADDiCT!

1:16 is the size of the rally.

yeah i know traxxas says 1/16
but traxxas has their scale a little off
they say the big erevo is 1/10 and its more the 1/8 scale
i meant to actually measure the rally body width length and wheel base
i was able to fit a 1/10 crawler body on my old mini revo
i love traxxas, but their scales are way off... i mean, i almost crapped myself when i saw a summit for the first time... deffinatley 8th scale!
I live about 20 minutes from Traxxis HQ, and my main hobby shop has a bi weekly parts run from TRaxxis as well. The word is that the mustang bodies will be shipping in the next week or two. Now as far as the Camaro bodies go, Traxxis had to license the body for any number of bodies, so it doesn't make since for them to pay to license the body, then not offer it to the public. I'm hoping that they release the mustang and the Camaro at the same time... One can hope anyway...

Update: according to my back up hobby shop, the mustang body is available for order, but the hobby shop has a couple on order but they haven't recurved it yet. So I guess we are still SOL for the 1/16 scale...
