When it just me or am I unlucky ..... third esc I burn up !!!!!! hell! it is expensive.Traxxas is the shit! I said that it was slow. but that it would be slower than my old turbooptima is ridiculous. okay it was brushed motor but anyways. we are in the 2000s. inwith another one, and away .... equally slow. 2 lipo later a fire! put in an old esc fromTamaya early some 90 ... Holy shit what a speed!! have had three bad esc in a row.what are the odds.:mad:

Traxxas ESCs have never given me issues. That's weird. Call them and complain like you're doing here. See what they'll do for you.

@Jato: rofl
@OP: My 1/16th esc is toast as well. It overheated and is glitching pretty bad now. Im going to try and give them a call and see if they can take car of me... You should try the same, they always took care of me in the past. They shipped me two titan 15t motors for my Slash, one i didnt break in properly, the second had broken springs, and no questions asked two replacements showed up. So, I would do what Jato suggest. All they can do is tell you no, and then your no worse off than you are now...

I would try to cut some holes in the body to create a good air flow and probably attach a ESC fan

Traxxas is great you just must be having bad luck. But if you want to get a different brand then id get either a Associated,Losi, or HPI

yes you're right in this case I think.:-)

It's a brushed motor, those aren't even good to begin this case with. Upgrade to brushless!! Those are cheap motors, what $30?
