Which truck would be a good speed runner, basher and offroader? the Mini 8ight or Mini e revo vxl? i haven't seen alot of mini 8ights being used off a track so Im not sure if theres gonna be much voters for the mini 8ight. Also Which Micro would be a good truck by losi? the Micro Highroller or the Micro DT? thanks all and Im new to the forums! :)
I'd say MERV. More off road-y... They're a blast to drive and TONS of after market parts, plus they can take 2.2 1/10 buggy rear tires, so you can have DirtHawgs
Mini 8IGHT. Most likely it will have much better handling and much better durability which will mean more fun.
I have a 1/16 Slash which is like the 1/16 Revo and its my least favorite RC. The suspension, which is great on a 1/10 Revo, is horrible at this scale.

the revo is more bulletproof than the losi and the first production of the losi has shocks issues because they keep breaking very easy.
I haven't seen any reviews on the Mini 8IGHTs, but that surprises me. Losi 8IGHT-Bs and 8IGHT-Ts are about as durable as it gets.Quote:

I think the mini revo vxl, it's got a heap of aftermarket stuff, pretty damn tough and you can change out the motor mount for the brushed mini revo motor mount and shove a 1/10th scale brushless system in there (it would be stupid fast). the losi can't fit 1/10th scale electronics in it and there is a problem with the stock shock caps for some people.

What about the Savage XS? It's similar scale. Supposeldy fast, great off road, handles well, support some 1/10 scale parts
