I've never owned one but I have someone that want to trade me one for a tamiya i have. I have been looking into them it seems finding parts is a little tough, but they seem to be ok for what they are(cheap).

Big Squid RC gave the Redcat Monsoon a 0 out of 10. Does that explain Redcat "quality" enough for you?

Stay away. Get something that's durable,reliable, and has local parts support like a Traxxas.

Yea i would go traxxas or hpi for sure. They have all you want or need for any type as well as price range. Haven't heard much good about redcat.
