Hi guys wot was your 1st rc car or truck . Mine was a traxxas stampede 2wd xl5 .

Traxxas summit 1/10 was my first hobby grade. Had lots of rcs over the years. One of he most fun was a.double sided tyco ricochet that you could inflate the tires with a needle like a ball. Found it after about 15-17 years and have no remote. It sucks.

kyosho stadium baja. complete with 3 speed mechanical speed control!
it was a peace of junk, but i still have it and one day i plan on restoring it.

My first hobby grade RC was a Stampede 2wd with a manual speed control, before the XL-5 or XL-1 ESC was around. Still have the beast today and it's all nice and pimped out! Mine would put the current VXL versions to shame...

Mine was the original traxxas rustler with a .15 I think it had, man I hated that thing what a friggin headache

Just out of curiosity, why'd you hate it so much? Because it was nitro? I had the older .15 Rusty for awhile and I kind of like it for its simplicity, but I'm not much of a nitro guy and I'll probably never get one again lol.

The high speed needle must have broke or came loose about ten times was loose from the factory, my first run my break melted don't really remember why ,an any tiny jump I would make the thing would break, I pretty much chalked it up to me getting a lemon cause it just never worked from day one really
