Switching connectors ??

Hi guys I have a question for you . I am getting a slash and I would like to change out the traxxas connectors that are on the leads from the motor to the battery and switch them to Deans .Now for the question how do I go about this ?? Do I cut the traxxas connector off and solder the Deans on,or is there another way ?????

Sorry for the dumb question but I don`t want to screw this up !!!

You could get a Traxxas --> Deans connector to avoid the need for any soldering and to keep your warranty.

You could go with the traxxas - Deans as stated, I would just cut and re-solder new connectors on. I personally went with all Deans on my RC's....

if you also have a brushed unit you could put deans connectors on your esc/motor to make motor swaps quicker and simpler, this would help prevent crossed polarity/rotation in the motor.
