iv got a traxxas bandit xl 5 which i have converted to a brushless system using a venom 80 amp esc and a velineon 3500 moter . the problem im having is my range with my car has decreased to a few hundred feet since i took the xl 5 off .i had lotts of range with the brushed setup the car is only a month old and i am running old style transmitter with the crystals eas wondering if any body has had this problem or could help me thanks in advance ps has any one used the leopard brushless system on ebay for 68.00 dollars if so are they any good this is for my 12 year old son and would be going in two wheel drive stampede.

Check the transmitter antenna. Also check the reciever antenna. I use the Traxxas VXL-3s in my Rustler VXL and Slash 4x4. I use the Velineon 3500 motor in both of them also. I use 2.4ghz so I'm not really sure but when you drive the Bandit, make sure the transmitter antenna is extended all the way.

you might be getting radio interference from something
try going to 2.4ghz you wont get any radio interference
