Traxxas Rustler VXL Cvd's?

I had a question about MIP Cvd's for the Rustler. Here is the link of the Cvd's I'm looking at.

Does anyone have any expierence with these cvd's? And would I need to know if those locknuts will act as wheel nuts later on.

if that's the same kit that was around back in the late 90's then yes i do have some experience with them. a guy i bashed with back then had me install a set on his rustler after the 12 turn motor he put in it kept causing driveline breakages. he never had an issue with them. much better than the stock setup was.

and yes the lock nuts are wheel nuts. they hold the wheel on
