Traxxas Stampede VXL Battery

I am looking into getting a lipo battery for my Stampede VXL. I want one that is a good brand, not to expensive, and will make my run times long. Also looking for a decent not to expensive charger for it. Got any suggestions?

go to hobbypartz.com and pick up the gens ace 5000mah 40c lipo i could get about 30min on my vxl motor and esc. and look for chargers there as well

It really does depends, honestly I know people talk junk but most venom power stuff I have gotten has worked just fine. If you are looking for long running time, just make sure you check on cooling.

Yeah Venom's are a great battery if you're trying to pick up locally. I own many of them and they've all performed flawlessly. The stampede is already a top-heavy truck. If you're looking for long run time's get two 4000 or 5000mah packs to keep the weight down. Like Jeremy said, if you want to run for an hour straight make sure she's running under 150 degrees.

my neighbor has a 7 cell 5100 rocketpack from orion... that thing HAULS with that battery, and its lasted him a while
