what camera are you using now? just use that and drive with one hand and film with the other, that's how i make all my videos. i just used my point and shoot kodak C340 camera.
personally im bored with onboard footage, it's to hard to see what's going on, and everything happens way to fast. you don't need to get fancy with it and turn every video into a huge production.
iv noticed something about RC youtube videos. and that's no matter how basic the video is, how bad the quality, if people are interested in the vehicle in the video they will watch it (or at least click on it). and if you supply them with enough content about that vehicle, they will subscribe.

if all you can do is videos like this
it's a start. if you're rocking a bandit people will watch it. the videos may not get 10,000 views but a few hundred isn't bad. you have to start somewhere.
