I highly recommend the Super Cub Piper PA-18 for a first plane. It's ready to fly with all the electrical already installed so you don't need anything else in order to get one up in the air. They are made of foam, so get a bottle of "Foam Safe CA" glue and just keep gluing stuff back together when it breaks. The "anti-crash technology" they are pretty easy to learn to fly on. Its equipped with a 2.4 GHz radio control characterized by a longer range, a higher stability and eliminates the risk of interference to other radio control pilots.
