    Quadrocopter arrived!/ Build thread

    Hey guys I know its a multi-rotor, but Im not sure what happened to general RC flight....

    Anyway, My Quad order came in!

    Everything came perfect!

    Ill have pics up tomorrow, and hopefully start some work on it. It's going to be a butt load of soldering.... the only thing that is soldered is the motors. I need to do the all ESC connections, power spider, batteries, and receiver connections...

    I didn't even start on designing the frame yet! I was expecting shipping to take a month, when it only took just over a week!

    The HK quad-controller. It's a KK board clone, so most of the programs work. I didn't other with the HK 3.0 board. Same speed just more memory.

    Hey guys! Sorry I don't have pics up yet. Little unexpected drama.... Girls.

    Anyway I was soldering my speed controls, my soldering iron isn't hot enough.... as for the frame, I have some ideas down now, I just need to draw it up in AutoCAD and cut it out on our school's Shopbot

    Hey guys, not sure how many people our actually following this, but I have all the ESCs soldered and ready to go. Instead of making a frame from scratch, HobbyKing just got in a new one which is EXACTLY what I was looking for.

    The only problem is it's 600mm I was planning a 450mm, So Ill just make new arms. My friend is also going to recreate it in a CAD program, so if it breaks or I want a new one, we can cut it out of Carbon Fiber on the CNC. Right now it's just Fiberglass.
