A friend of mine bought a Duratrax Evader and 3 batteries later the clutch is done.
The esc is linkable via Castle Link, so it is possible to ease the power back a bit but the clutch is still a problem.
I have heard that a Traxxas Slash 2wd slipper will fit on it.
Has any one done this and if so how well did it fit?
Was it new or used? Either way, it sounds like the slipper was too loose. Look in the manual and find the correct way to adjust it, I don't have one so I don't know if the Slash slipper will fit.

idk about if the slash slipper will fit but the original slipper clutch was too lose. you need to tighten the slipper clutch nut all the way down, and then loosen it 1/2 of a turn. that should be good. What do you mean by "the clutch is done"?
