I just got the Velineon 3500 brushless motor the day before Thanksgiving, my stock Alias rear tires are now flat street tires and winter is comin here in wisconsin and I was just woundering what would be the best tires for off-road and snow. And what els should I upgrade?

Badlands... I think you can get them for a bandit. Good lipo to rip through the snow.

i always wanted to use chains do that but it doesnt snow here and i would never risk bashing at the beach. would there be other reasons to use chains?

If you want a basher or something to just beat around the neighborhood with then Traxxas is what you're looking for and there is nothing wrong with your bandit. As for upgrades. There is really nothing on the bandit that breaks. It's a tough little car so I would recommend only upgrade things like suspension arms, shock towers etc IF you manage to break one which is pretty unlikely.
