So I dropped a losi xcelorin brushless system into my 1/18 scale Animus. The xcelorin is for 1/18 scale. The problem I'm having is that with minimum throttle it does nothing but back flips. Could it be the motor is just to much? The motor is a 4500kv. I'd appreciate any help I can get.
yikes, yea likely, but you also need to adjust the gearing..
I would check the manual and stuff to see how big of a motor you can put in.. Also gearing has a lot to do with it to.
That's part of the problem the animus tr has very little support, no hop up parts and definitely no gearing alternatives. It's likely I've bit off more than I can chew. About the only thing I could do gearing wise is change out the the pinion. Maybe a different sized motor? Not sure what size I should try... Thoughts?Quote:

Nobody makes a wheelie bar for the animus series. Nobody but helion itself makes any upgrades for the animus'sQuote:

you can get a raiod with a screen that can help you tone down the throttle to where it feels good to you
