Need advice... Brushless conversion Helion Animus Tr

So I dropped a losi xcelorin brushless system into my 1/18 scale Animus. The xcelorin is for 1/18 scale. The problem I'm having is that with minimum throttle it does nothing but back flips. Could it be the motor is just to much? The motor is a 4500kv. I'd appreciate any help I can get.

I would check the manual and stuff to see how big of a motor you can put in.. Also gearing has a lot to do with it to.

That's part of the problem the animus tr has very little support, no hop up parts and definitely no gearing alternatives. It's likely I've bit off more than I can chew. About the only thing I could do gearing wise is change out the the pinion. Maybe a different sized motor? Not sure what size I should try... Thoughts?

I have the animus sc and I am lookin for a brushless motor. How did u install the motor and ESC? Did u keep the old ERS or did u get rid of it? Would u recommend the system but at a lower kv? How did u set it up?

Nobody makes a wheelie bar for the animus series. Nobody but helion itself makes any upgrades for the animus's
If nobody comes back from the future to stop you, how bad of a decision can it be?

And maybe that motor is a little to much, im gonna get the toro 1/18 brushless system. its 30 bucks on nitrorcx.com for a brushless motor and esc that will handle 3s and it is the helion upgrade color orange so itll match the car verywell

you can get a raiod with a screen that can help you tone down the throttle to where it feels good to you
