First brushless E-revo upgrades

I have been doing some research on upgrades to my e-revo brushless. From what I can see the first three upgrades should be the batteries, steering servo, and tires. Most info is pretty clear about the batteries, 3S 5000Mah (any C or brand recommendations?). For the tires, I am hearing pro-line is a good place to start (recommendations for grass/dirt?). The main item though is the steering servo. I am thinking of using a single spektrum or savox servo, any model recommendations would be appreciated.

Servo: Not sure. Mine are still going good after 4 years!!

Thx for the info. Batteries are deffinately going to be the first upgrades for me. Going to see how the stock system runs with the new lipo's, then decide if I should switch from the stock 65t spur to the included 57t.

Yeah, I use 18/58 in mine, no heat issues at all and I'm in Louisiana!!
