sc10 4x4 or ten-scte

Cant decide which one i want to get....

So what are you planning on doing the most ...racing or bashing?

sc10 4x4...

I like the ten-scte because the higher weight of the metal chassis and the placement of the weight makes it much easier to drive fast than the sc10. That and doing any maintenance work on the sc10 4x4 requires taking apart the entire car most of the time.

it seems like at my track the sc10 4x4 has problems finishing races. but that is most likely the builders fault. i would pick the scte if i was trying to decide.

I am trying to get into mostly racing.

I have the scte. I think its better cause I do a lot of 1/8 racing and the scte is closest to 1/8 car then any other SC truck. Plus the scte dosnt do any parachuting over jumps cause of the weight.

So... racing.., ok... what kind of track is in your local area(indoor or outdoor, track surface type) , and what are they racing at your local track? Who is winning, and with what are they winning with..., ..personally I went with the Nexx 10sc, but that's me...but from what I have seen the Team Associated 10sc 4x4 would be great on indoor clay and or carpet track with very tight turns with a pretty smooth surface..and over all it will be the faster truck..belt drive usually are faster, if you ever notice race bikes don't use shaft drive for a reason,...Now the Losi is kicking some butt on larger outdoor rougher track with a lot of bumps and jumps ...weight helps with bumps and jumps..and it doesn't look like a pain in the rear to fix.. Both seem to be great trucks, however ...where I would be racing the truck would be more of how I would make my decision..

im biased, but i would go with the SCTE. its just flat out easier to drive, and easier to work on.
