having the slash for 6 weeks or so, here's what i've broken...

I stripped the gears in the diff, i broke a rear axle carrier, i bent a shock rod....the diff and axle carrier were from driving in the snow...i was in my driveway on both occasions. my driveway is poured concrete, and the street is normal blacktop. i had no traction i the driveway, so i was wide open throttle...then i hit the street, where i had plenty of traction. after 6-7 times of that i heard "crunch"

the axle carrier- i was running in my driveway in the snow. doing power slides into the street...there is a pot hole that i hit sideways. it was about 5 degrees outside so the plastic was hard. pop

the shock rod was while racing. i built an insanely high jump for the track, we were getting 5-6 feet of air. there was a landing jump, but on a few occasions i missed it.

when i checked the truck after the race i found the bent shock.

with all of this, i would buy another slash if i had to do it all over again.

i like my strike. its cheap parts are cheap and its pretty easy to work on and alot of parts are interchangeable with other trucks even different brands

Yeah what do you think about the new SC10 4x4

i'll have to see it up close. probably won't see it in my neck of the woods till the summer at least

I love my Slash aka The sc10 killer . I love how durable it is and also how sc10s have problems keeping up with it

it would have to be a tie between a Slash 2wd and a Sc10. can't decide which one i wanna buy though...

Go in the middle and get the hpi blitz. you get the strength and toughness of a slash with the handling and adjustability of a sc10.

Mine would have to be slash 4x4. Got set up so dialed and never let me down
