go with the torment that a great truck
i am wanting to get a 2wd shortcourse and my two choices are the hpi blitz or electrix rc torment what is your guys opinions
go with the torment that a great truck
Blitz! The Torment is untested. You can get an original Blitz for $185 on Daves Discount Motors! That's only like $39 more than a Torment!

yah im a member on ultimate rc and they all said go with the blitz because its a proven truck and its waterproof it has good part support and all that
the torment dosent need to be tested because tougher than any other rc out there except being ran over by a car
alright i see wegoing to be butting heads with this lets throw the pros and cons of each. like part support. lipo readyness, durability, and others like aftermarket parts
Not at all. We are having a discussion not an argument. I just want some proof or facts to backup your claim that the Torment is tougher. If you don't have any it's just an opinion.
Below are my opinions.
Parts support: Blitz. More LHS stock HPI.
LiPo readiness: draw
Durability: Blitz because it's proven. I give the nod to the Blitz until the Torment is our long enough to prove itself.
Aftermarket support: Blitz. Does any aftermarket company make parts for the Torment?

ok the torment does have a vast amount of part support from the other rigs by ecx that share the excat same parts so no need for exact only parts
now lipo ready no thats what the blitz have over the torment
after market parts really no need it pretty tough already
water proof no blitz yes but for the new rig
another point too whats the truck going to be used for mostly
like both are rtr except for the ese pro
blitz it for bashing on how the new setup is who is going to be racing in the rain or threw water
torment not waterproof but some what of a hybrid both racing and bashing
so really they are both great trucks thats all my opinons any rebutle on them
Ok, firstly, please use some form of punctuation when responding. See what I did there at the end of my first sentence? That's called a period! They are your friends. Learn to use them.
Secondly, unless either of these two sct's comes with a 10 year old esc, and an all plastic drive train, both of them are lipo ready.
Thirdly, with the prevalence of parts at your lhs's and the ability to get parts shipped over night, parts availability really isn't a issue anymore.
Finally, you can't say that because a truck is tough you don't need spare parts or part upgrades. That's like me saying "I can carve a turkey pretty good, so I would make a good surgeon." It just doesn't make sense. Parts brake or wear out, things bend, stuff gets lost. Its part of the hobby...
