I have seen os engines and other name brands. The question I have is the nitro engines that come in the rtr's that are on the low end are the ok? Low end example like Hobby King etc thanks TNT

Probably not, I wouldn't recommend one of the low end vehicles to anyone really, especially if you're new to the hobby. Stick with a name brand vehicle, that way if you have issues, the company will stand behind their product.
