new to the RC world

Trying to decide on what to get. Local short track about 4 blocks from my house sure is nice. I was riding motorcross but don't have the time for travel and cost to ride can get kinda costly.

I am looking at the TRAXXAS Jato 3.3 2wd RTR Nitro stadium Truck just a bit over $400.00 OR the Traxxas Slayer Pro 4wd Short Course Race Truck at about $450. The course is dirt and just built so don't think it is going to be hard unless they pack it.

Can anybody make a recomendation.
