hello I am ne to rc and just bought a traxxas summit I heard you have to break in the brushed motor how do I go about that

People don't do this anymore. Just run your truck and don't worry about it.

Welcome! Jato is right most of the stock motors don't need break in that was done mostly on high end race motors. If you want you could just take it easy your first couple battery pack to let the brushes seat themselfs but thats about all you would do.

Ok thanks I am still learning what to do for rc I just bought 2 venom 7 cell 5000 mah nimh battery's for it

Hey man and welcome. I am new as well and have a summit and just got my fiance a used one with troubles. Should woke good with the 5000mah i know mine does. Lasts a bit longer to. Starting to learn lots though because of all the maintenance and fixing and troubleshooting. Read alot i guess. Have a good one. Oh yea did you get the rip too and just miss the traxxas putting the tqi with the summit like i did?? Missed by 2days... Hated that but love the truck..
