From most people that have driven both the sc10 4x4 and the losi scte, most like the losi better. They say it is more durable and easier to drive on a more powerful setup.

Diff pins are updated now but weight is an issue on those trucks. They over heat esily. Watch temps and it puts a bearin on the truck for bashers. Its a race truck only basically.

Ive seen people bash the losi truck no problems. I guess it is the esc and motor combo you use and how you have it geared. A guy at my local track uses the castle 3800kv four pole motor for racing and the 2400kv for bashing with the mamba max pro esc and has never had any issues with either getting to hot.
