Its working! I hooked it all up and tried it again while i was waiting for a representative to talk to.I wiggled the crystal in my receiver and the esc started responding!So i set my end points and chose the mode i wanted and its working as it should.

Ok new question,when the lipo cutoff is on should the light be solid green or solid red.When i turn on the esc it blinks green twice then i put the setup button again then it blinks red after it blinks red the light comes back on in solid green after i let go.

NOTE: While in the programming mode, no power is applied to
the motor.
Battery Selection: When the ESC is powered on, the LED will be
flashing for 2 seconds to indicate the Selected Battery Type.
During this time the user can press the key to toggle between
LiPo and NiMH/NiCd modes. After the key has been pressed
(battery type selected), the LED will flash for 2 more seconds.
A. Turn on ESC and push button once within 2 seconds, push
again to toggle between modes.
B. Red light indicates LiPo mode (with 6-volt cutoff)
C. Green light indicates NiMH/NiCd mode

It sounds like you have it setup right as per Batman's post:
"Battery Selection: When the ESC is powered on, the LED will be
flashing for 2 seconds to indicate the Selected Battery Type. "

Its the same instructions that have in my manual. In other words, as soon as you turn it on, the flashing light color indicates what battery type it is setup for (ex green for NIMH and red for Lipo). So, if it flashes red for 2 seconds, that means its setup for Lipo and then the ESC goes solid green after that to show that it is ready to use.

Ok well i just ran it bout 20 mins ago do you know if the red light blinks to symbolize that the cut off is working when the battery gets run down?Because the truck got slower but no lights were blinking. on my traxxas xl-5 the light flashes red when the battery gets low.

As far as I know, the lights don't change when the battery is running down. The esc will cut the power when the battery gets near the cutoff, that's your queue to park it.
