I was thinking about trading an E Revo for a Revo 3.3. I'm tired of having all these electric problems and batteries just cost too much. I'd rather for a nitro to run all out instead of a electric losing power then running out. Should I do it?

well if you like nitro and can make it run i would go with.. i started electric and dont know how to run nitro right, so i have all the things i would need for a erevo so i would choose the erevo, but if you dont have all the stuff lipos good charger etc i would run the nitro... nothing beats the sweet smell of nitro
Yeah, I mainly want nitro because my E Revo is still brushed and it's way too slow for me paying $1000 for bodies, parts, and batteries! I'm starting to get tired of driving it. The batteries give me only like 15 minutes of runtime. It's rediculous! Plus Mamba Monster, Lipos, and a Lipo charger would cost another $500 :(
chris my boy mite trade you or just pm me and tell me how much cash u want
Well I'm a nitro guy, so you can guess what I would say, even though fuel is starting to go up, lol

Bottom line - you sound frustrated with your E-Revo and aren't happy driving it so I say go for the swap. Are you more familiar with nitro?
Alright Jess I'll let you correct that one.

It sounds like you'd have no problem making the switch to nitro. I'd just make sure the swap is worth it. A clutch, gasket set, fuel line, glow plug, and one-way bearing = A nice battery, and that's assuming the engine is in great shape.
Whenever I buy USED nitro it's only as a roller because I don't want someone else's rcnightmare of an engine.
Whenever I buy USED electric it's without batteries for the same reason.
