Hi all, I am wanting to get a nitro car, Now my question is what is a good brand but only cost around like $100.00 - $150.00 ..
Also a car that I can get parts for easy and from my local hobby shop.. I am asking for this price and for parts that are easy to find beacause knowing me I'll break it on like the 6th run....
could anyone help

You probably won't get a trusted brand for that cheap. More like in the $300 range.

you might be able to find a traxxas or a losi or a associated, hpi for around that but it wont be in good condition at all. so it would be better for you to spend a little more and get something nicer

the only thing in that price range for a new nitro car would be an exceed. but like chris said, for 300-400 $ you can get a nice new traxxas or hpi vehicle. UNLESS you buy one used. they are much cheaper but if you are new to nitro they can be very hard to tune and there may be multiple things wrong with them
I agree with everyone else
Sorry but it is very hard to find a nitro rig that you will be able to find parts for at your LHS for that price. Sometimes you can luck into a deal on a used one that is in good shape or needs little to repair.
I would recommend runnin/walkin/drivein down to your LHS and talking to some people down there as they might know someone who is getting ready or has upgraded and wants to sell their rig. Just keep in mind that some of these rigs can get expensive, depending on what has been done to them but you will never know until you try![]()

ofna makes nitro buggies for like 300 and up and they are a trusted brand
past experiences tell me it is possible to get a used nitro for under $150. in 2001 i picked up a slightly hopped up HPI nitro RS4 2 and a Tower hobbies Nitro ST-15 for $150. the HPI even ran. it needed a major tune up and a new body, but it ran. here we are 10 years later and i can still get 90% of the parts for the HPI new from a hobby shop.
you might want to hunt around for an older HPI car. iv seen rolling RS4's, RS4 2's and RS4 3's get sold for under $100. put some elbow grease and a little bit of money into it and you could have a good basher for under $200.
if you're looking for an off road maybe try an RC10GT or GT2. i believe they are still in production meaning parts are readily available, but nitro stadium trucks aren't very popular anymore so there are a lot of used ones out there getting sold for cheap
respect your elders. we've been around longer and done more stupid things than you, therefore we're smarter
It will be a real challenge finding a car for that with large parts capatability at local shops. Typical shops cary alot of traxxas, ae, losi, hot bodies, mugen.
