Savage 25 Resurrection Thread ~Finally Running~

So I am finally releasing some photos of my newest restore project. I bought this savage 25 on craigslist for 60 dollars. The motor I could tell was shot, and the truck needed some work all over. So I decided to throw some money into it, just to see this thing back in action. First I went over the whole car and replaced all the missing screws. Then I pulled apart the motor and realized the guy put the clutch on wrong and the bell housing spacer was on the inside the housing and not the outside, so the only pieces from the original savage engine was the exhaust, fly wheel, and fuel tank.

So I payed a trip to my LHS and bought myself some new parts:

-Dynamite BIG RED .28 Engine
-Losi Aluminum Clutch Shoes
-New HPI Bell Housing
-New HPI Spur Gear
-New Fuel Lines
-HPI Ford F150 Body
-Byron's Dual Intake Filter
-New Linkages and Springs
-New Servo Saver For The Steering
-New HPI Ringz Rims and Tires On Order.

The truck also had a full over haul and clean, Brakes are now working, and the forward/reverse module is working also. Will be linking this up to my Spektrum Dx3 soon, but for the brake in and first few tanks I will be running this on the stock 3 channel remote.

Thanks everyone, cant wait for the ribbed pipe to make more power down low, this one is a screamer.
