That's what I was thinking. I have an exceed and I do like it but it takes forever to get parts and you really can't do much to upgrade it. I plan on buying a Traxxas once I have enough moola lol

Yeah, they carry pretty much every part you need. I have an E Revo

no, get losi or hpi, i have a exceed but my cousin has a traxxas and has nothing but problems with it. trust me. now traxxas brushless are ok but nitro...no. CEN is cheap like exceed but you can get parts nomatter what. check them out. you can upgrade every part. try CEN out for cheap and awesome but losi or hpi for local hobby store convience.

traxxas, team associated, then losi from what i've experienced, everyone has there own opinions
i have an exceed madwarrior it holds its own against the higher end brands but there is almost no room for mistakes because once you crash its time for repairs.

WOW! This is a loaded question, it really depends on what you want to do with it to be honest, tell us a little about what you want to do because the "best" brand in each application tends to be very different.

For parts support. Definitely Traxxas. Most shops have an entire wall dedicated to their parts.

For racing thats gonna be up to personal preference. For 2wd shout course i love my slash, even though they are useless for racing stock except for in a spec class, if u mod it right, u can do some serious damage in the mod sct class B). For 8ight scale buggy, i drive a losi 8ight and, to me at least, feels perfect for my driving style.
