Thicker oil, stiffer springs, weight forward, and electrical tape on the tires ;) As far as gearing and differentials go, depends on power system. Great thing about drifting is that there can be a general set up that works well for most tracks with no changes
Ya with slick tires it doesnt take much power to kick it loose. Thats the important part. Slick tires. Then stiff springs. Really you adjust a drifter to your style though and you learn how to drive your car. I have seen a guy drifting a cup racer. For me I didnt like the short wheel base, but he was used to it and liked it. Slick your tires (electrical tape or make some with pvc pipe) and learn to drive it
drifting is fun, but very tricky to get it down
find some fresh black asphalt
or if you're lucky enough, big, clear carpeted area. Great for learning on, little or no imperfections to mess with your technique
