PVC tends to work the best, if not, electrical tape around normal tires. Tape doesn't last long, if at all on pavement. PVC is cheap and can last long. A single foot can make several tires.
you can also just use rims without tires on them, but you prob wont be able to glue tires to them again
Ya i dont think im going to use that idea of just rims, but i think im just going to use the pvc pipe idea
Go with the PVC it will cost you about 3 bucks for a 2 foot peice and you can cut it with a jigsaw if need be. or if you have a compound miter saw you are really in buisness.
I know this thread is old but idk if you ever did anything with this. My friend made drift tires out of a bottle cap for his micro. Then he tried electrical tape. That stayed on better and he never ran the micro on anything ruff so it lasted long. But he did something similar to this with his rusty. He took one of those clorox (probably spelled wrong) sanitary wipe tubes and cut the two ends off so the left tube on the end was the width of the tires. Then he just taped them on when he wanted to use them. It was a little more complicated than that but idk how to explain it any better.
Oh im still on this thread. But i havnt got around to trying those drift tires yet. I would like to but just havnt got there yet. And i have heard of using wax crayons. And just wax up the pvc too.
Yeah, they were cool, but LOUD
