to remove paint use dot 4 brake fluid. Jang from ultimate RC did a video on it. YouTube - ‪How to Remove Paint from a Lexan RC body ... the EASY way!‬‏
Here is a question for the body guys. Is there a way to remove the paint from the inside of the body? And a follow up, how can you buff out scratches on the outside of of the shell?
Traxxas Slash 4x4 mostly stock with some big ass tires.
Traxxas Stampede with a Velineon blushless system.
Losi Highroller with a brushless system.

I learned something the hard way too, Water based paint on a body in the mud IS NOT VERY FUN!
Pactra makes a paint thinner that works on their paint.
I reject your reality, and blow it up with C4.

Thanks for the tip!
The thing that I want to do is modify my stock slash body. Can I buff out the scratches on the outside as well?

Maybe! if try hard!
Try using motor cleaner and a rag on the outside of the body to remove scuffs. It works but you do have to scrub it pretty hard.
I have used all different kinds of brake fluids... none worked for me, they took tiny bits of paint off, but left the shell cloudy and blotchy :/ not happy
Buying a new shell is the only way IMO as of today.
